You can manually input values, copy-paste data from spreadsheets, or even extract table data from images with a handy tip! Here’s how:
Before you get started, make sure you have the right layout for your size table (number of columns and rows)
1. Manually Enter Data
- Click on any cell in the table to select it.
- Start typing the value (e.g., 31.5 - 32.5 or S).
- If you want to use automatic conversion: Avoid adding any special signs! As such, do not include " or cm inside the cells.
- Use the Tab key to move to the next cell, Enter to move to the next line or the Arrow Keys to navigate.
- Repeat this process for all rows and columns in your size chart.
2. Copy and Paste from Excel or Google Sheets
- Open your data in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet tool.
- Highlight the rows and columns you want to copy, then press Ctrl + C (Windows) or Cmd + C (Mac) to copy the data.
- Go to your SmartSize table, click the first cell where you want to paste the data, and press Ctrl + V (Windows) or Cmd + V (Mac) to paste.
- The copied data will automatically populate the cells, maintaining the row and column structure.
3. Extract Data from an Image (Pro Tip!)
- If your size chart data is only available as an image, use a tool like ChatGPT to extract it into a table format.
- Upload the image and ask ChatGPT to convert the data into a structured table.
- Copy the extracted table data and paste it into Excel or directly into the SmartSize table.
- This method saves time and ensures no critical data is missed.
